Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science

The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science Graduates can:

● Demonstrate a deep understanding of scientific concepts, principles, and application of knowledge to perform tasks with integrity and excellence, for the glory of God and the world.

● Apply scientific inquiry in teaching and learning processes to develop logical thinking and competence by using different technological tools in adapting to this ever-changing world.

● Utilize effective science teaching and assessment methods that includes designing and utilizing appropriate instructional materials and assessment techniques to monitor and evaluate learning of the 21st -century learners. 

● Manifest meaningful, comprehensive, and relevant pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of the sciences through the positive use of ICT to develop critical and creative thinking, and or other higher-order thinking skills. 

Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics

The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics Graduates can:

● Demonstrate competence in mathematical concepts and procedures by solving systematically routine and non-routine problems across discipline with different levels of complexity

● Manifest meaningful, comprehensive, and relevant pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) of mathematics using appropriate approaches, methods, and techniques in teaching mathematics including responsible use of technological tools and crafting of messages to address learning goals.

● Demonstrate competence in designing, constructing, selecting, and utilizing different forms of assessment strategies in mathematics to make useful contribution when needed.

● Manifest continuous appreciation of mathematics as an opportunity for creative work, moments of discovery, and gaining insights of the world to enhance one’s performance and productivity.

Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino

Ang BSED medyor sa Filipino ay naglalayong makakaprudyos ng gradweyts na:

● Nagpapamalas ng mataas na antas ng kaalaman sa pagtuturo ng wika at panitikang Filipino bilang gabay sa pagtuklas ng mga panibagong kaalaman at paglinang ng kakayahan gamit ang kritikal na pag-iisip,teknolohiya, epektibong pedagohikal na kaalaman, paggamit ng wastong pagtataya at pagtatasa tungo sa mas makabuluhang gawain sa kung ano ang nararapat at naayon sa mata ng Diyos.

● Nagtataglay ng kaalaman hinggil sa usapin ng kultural at linggwistikong dibersidad ng bansa at nagagamit ang mga kaalamang ito sa pamamagitan ng maingat na pagsusuri ng mga sitwasyon at mahusay na nauunawaang mga desisyon hinggil sa pagkakaiba-iba ng mga mag-aaral sa pamayanan. tungo sa pagpapakita ng malawak at malalim na pag-unawa at kaalaman sa ugnayan ng wika, kultura at lipunan.

Nakapagdidisenyo ng malikhain, inobatibo, integratibong mga alternatibong dulog na hango sa Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) at mga Etika ng mga

● Propesyonal na guro at nagagamit ang mga kasanayan at kaalaman sa mga ito tungo sa mabisang pagtuturo at pagkatuto.

● Nakagagawa ng pananaliksik ukol sa ikauunlad ng wikang Filipino bilang wikang panturo sa pamamagitan ng paggamit ng makaagham na pagsusuri, mga angkop na estratehiya, pamamaraan at mga kagamitang panturo upang mas lalong pagtibayin ang mga konseptong naaangkop sa mga paraan ng pagkatuto ng mga estudyante ng ika-21 siglo. 

Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English 

The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English Graduates can: • Possess broad knowledge of language and literature for effective learning through extensive reading background in language literature, and allied fields 

● Demonstrate proficiency in English as second language both in oral and written communication considering the multilingual context as it applies to the teaching of language and literature

● Show competence in employing innovative language and literature teaching approaches, methodologies, and strategies by using technology in facilitating language and teaching

● Display skills and abilities to be a reflective and research-oriented language and literature teacher with a view to inspire students and colleagues in leading relevant and transformative changes in improving learning and teaching of language and literature
